In 2004, current owner Patrick McCormack was getting ready to prepare for life after active duty service in the military. A lifelong drummer, Patrick realized he wanted to have a drum kit that had the sound he had been craving for years.  With an ear for quality sound and attention to detail, Patrick spent a few years learning to perfect the craftsmanship of custom-drum building before taking over the company in 2006.  Though MapleWorks had been established in the Baltimore/Annapolis area for years, in Patrick’s hands the company quickly expanded, acquiring national attention and artists who all agreed on one thing: MapleWorks Drums had some of the best sound they’d ever heard.

Though Patrick still moonlights on the weekends for the Maryland National Gaurd, his commitment to providing his customers with excellence in product and sound has earned him a strong reputation in the industry.  Patrick surrounds himself with craftsmen who care about creating great-looking drums and know that exceptional sound is the goal for every drum kit we create. Why? Because our craftsmen are musicians, like you, who won’t settle for anything less than the best.

Each drum kit is hand-crafted from start to finish so that no detail is missed. We know that a quality set of drums is an investment, one that should serve all your needs as a professional — not just fit the latest trend. While we’ll create the kit of your dreams to your specifications, you’ll always be able to rely on our years of experience to get the best insight into design and build. When your drum is ordered, there will be a craftsman specifically assigned to your kit to ensure that all requests and design elements are made to your complete satisfaction, with excellent quality control.  Patrick himself inspects each kit before it ships out in order to make sure that every kit that is delivered is worthy of the MapleWorks name.

MapleWorks Drums are built for drummers, by drummers, and we won’t settle for anything less than amazing.
